Pastor, Alredo Nieto, originally accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior twenty-five years ago. Acting on a calling from God, he started a bible study at his home. “I felt that there was a need for a bilingual speaking church in Pearsall.” Acting on the Lord’s request, he started having bible studies on Thursday nights for about two years. When the congregation started growing he incorporated Sunday morning services.
As the ministry began to flourish, the need for more space became obvious. On April 1, 2006 he officially opened the Shepherd’s Flock Christian Church at 308 S. Pecan St in Pearsall, Tx.
Our goal is to minister to the young and old alike in both english and spanish. We have an open door policy, come as you are, and let the Lord’s will be done.
Co pastor, Tim Nieto is the second of three boys born to Pastor Fred and Beatrice Nieto. Raised in church, Tim learned early on the importance of a true spiritual walk with Christ and the responsibility all believers have to live love out loud and to show others God’s love. His commitment and Gods calling positioned him as the choice for Co Pastors duties at The Shepherds Flock in August 2013.
At the young age of seven, Daisy was moved to help a homeless man who she encountered on her way out of a local Walgreens. Every Saturday she would pack a brown lunch bag with a ham and cheese sandwich and a banana. She would then take that bag and deliver it to this man, and in return, he would give her all that he had, which was a drawing of Mickey Mouse, but above that she accepted his smile as appreciation. Needless to say, this motivated Daisy to do more and to continue serving others during her life. Although Daisy continued by giving to others, she was unaware that she needed something in her life as well. In August of 2007, Daisy received a gift of her own when she accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. It was that relationship with God that propelled her further into understanding her calling and purpose in life.
Together Tim & Daisy look forward to great moments in the ministry. Both hope to meet you in person soon.
